Perhaps the “war” was for control of the passage not only to Antarctica, but more importantly to the passage out of our crater and onto the bigger earth. Has anybody brought up the fact that down there by Antarctica that was a dragon's head that he drew the yellow line around? If somebody has or he has my bad. @godgevlamste you can only see the strait from a big distance because the bright blue of the water contrasts with the yellow and brown sand of the surrounding areas. Contrasting colors pop out to your eye when looking at them.<br /><br />Imagine that youre looking at a massive open field. You will immediately notice small objects in the field if they have contrasting colors. It's the same with the strait. This is also the reason why you cant see Cairo from space. You can easily measure this on Google maps with the distance tool. <br /><br />Also: if Cairo was just 5 km wide and 5 km long. That would mean that there would be ~25 million people living on 5×5 = 25km2. That is a population density of 1.000.000 people per square kilometer. That number is so insane that it wouldnt even be possible to breathe in an area that dense. Lets do a small calculation.<br /><br />25 million people is roughly the population of the Benelux. And the village you live in is Oosterzele (I think) is 43km2. This means that the entire population of the Benelux would have to live in an area smaller than Oosterzele. That is completely impossible, but youre claiming that that is the scale of Cairo. <br /><br />At last. Please don't call me a troll. Ja de verschillen zijn klein maar vergeet niet dat de sterren erg ver weg zijn. Op mijn leeftijd nu heeft de poolster een verandering in positie gehad ten opzichte van dat ik geboren werdt met iets meer dan een halve graad. Als je dus slim bent kun je mijn leeftijd redelijk schatten. Het moge dan ook duidelijk zijn waarom deze kennis nodig is want een GPS heeft electriciteit nodig om te functioneren en als je generator dus panne heeft midden op de oceaan kan je helemaal niks meer op enkel GPS.<br /><br />Meten is weten, gissen is missen en je mist het geheel compleet.Show Comment | Likes: 0 | Wed Sep 16 2020, 16:51:39

@ForOdinAndAsgard ik snap niet dat je denkt mij te kunnen debunken hierzo,wat doe je hier.<br />Met een sextant overweg kunnen is niet zo moeilijk hoor.<br />Maar je geeft tenminste wel aan dat de sterren nooit hun positie verliezen en altijd op dezelfde plek staan.<br />Anders kan je niet navigeren hè.<br />Kun je meteen uitleggen waarom je in de atlantische oceaan op de sterren moet navigeren en geen gps hebt.Show Comment | Likes: 0 | Wed Sep 16 2020, 15:41:34
